Made to Order
Every vale ring is made to order. We begin crafting your piece only after your order has been placed. Each ring is shaped by hand and formed specifically for you. This process takes time and care. On average, production takes 2–3 weeks. We kindly ask you to measure your ring size carefully before ordering to ensure the best possible fit and to help avoid unnecessary returns. Thank you for your patience and for supporting slow, intentional craftsmanship.
Ring Sizing Guide
To help you find the right size, we recommend one of the following methods:
Option 1: Measure an Existing Ring Place a ring that fits you well on a ruler and measure the inner diameter in millimeters. Multiply this value by 3.14 to calculate the ring circumference, which corresponds to your European ring size.
Option 2: Measure Your Finger Wrap a strip of paper around the finger where you plan to wear the ring. Make sure it sits comfortably and can still pass over the knuckle. Mark where the paper meets and measure the length in millimeters. This measurement equals your finger circumference and your European ring size.
Option 3: Visit a Jeweler Visit a local jeweler to have your ring size measured professionally and free of charge. This is the most accurate method and highly recommended.
Helpful Tips:
• If you are between two sizes, choose the smaller size, especially for wider rings
• A ring should pass over the knuckle with slight resistance and feel secure once worn
• Avoid measuring your fingers when they are very cold or swollen
• Ring sizes may differ between hands and fingers. Always measure the exact finger where you intend to wear the ring
Material
All vale rings are cast in solid 925 sterling silver.
Each piece retains the organic marks and character of the original wax model, making every ring unique.
Care
Jewelry by vale is designed to be worn and loved over time. Silver is a natural material and may oxidize with wear. To preserve your piece, avoid direct contact with liquids, lotions (especially sunscreen) and chemical products. Protect your jewelry from excessive heat and prolonged sunlight. When not worn, store your piece individually in a soft cloth bag. Your ring is made to age with you.
Shipping
We ship from Munich, Germany, and currently deliver within the EU only. No additional customs duties or taxes apply. Once your order has been completed and shipped, you will receive a confirmation email including your DHL tracking number. Please note that vale is not responsible for unexpected shipping delays, loss, or theft caused by circumstances related to the courier.
Returns
Although all vale pieces are made to order, we voluntarily offer a 14-day right of withdrawal. You may return your order within fourteen (14) days of receipt, provided that:
• the item is unworn and unused
• the item is returned in its original condition Return shipping costs are borne by the customer.
This voluntary return policy does not affect your statutory warranty rights.
