1. Scope of Application
1.1 These Terms & Conditions apply to all orders placed via the online shop of vale by consumers.
1.2 A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business, or profession.

3. Minimum Age Orders may only be placed by persons who are at least 18 years old.
4. No Customer Accounts
4.1 Orders can be placed without creating a customer account.
4.2 The customer is required to provide complete and accurate information during the checkout process, in particular name, shipping address, email address, and payment details.
5. Contract Conclusion and Language
5.1 The presentation of products in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer but an invitation to place an order.
5.2 By clicking the button “Order Now”, the customer submits a binding offer to purchase the products in the shopping cart.
5.3 Before submitting the order, the customer may review and modify the cart contents or cancel the order process.
5.4 The contract is concluded when vale confirms the order by email (order confirmation).
5.5 The contract language is English.
6. Made-to-Order Products
6.1 All vale jewelry pieces are made to order. Production begins only after the order has been placed and payment has been received.
6.2 Each piece is handcrafted and unique. Minor variations in shape, surface, and texture are inherent to the handmade process and do not constitute defects.
7. Prices, Shipping Costs and Payment
7.1 All prices displayed are final prices including applicable taxes.
7.2 Shipping costs are charged additionally and displayed during checkout.
7.3 Payment methods available include credit card, PayPal, and bank transfer (prepayment). vale reserves the right to restrict certain payment methods in individual cases.
7.4 In the case of credit card payments, the charge is processed upon shipment of the order.
8. Production Time and Delivery
8.1 As all products are made to order, the average production and delivery time is 2–3 weeks from the conclusion of the contract.
8.2 Delivery is carried out via DHL.
8.3 Once the order has been shipped, the customer will receive a shipping confirmation including a tracking number.
8.4 vale is not responsible for delays, loss, or damage caused by circumstances attributable to the shipping service provider.
9. Shipping Area
9.1 vale currently ships within the European Union only.
9.2 No additional customs duties or import taxes apply within the EU.
10. Right of Withdrawal (Voluntary)
10.1 Although vale products are made to order, vale voluntarily grants a right of withdrawal of fourteen (14) daysfrom the day the customer receives the goods. 10.2 To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must notify vale by a clear statement (e.g. email).
10.3 The returned item must be unworn, unused, and in its original condition. 10.4 The customer bears the direct cost of returning the goods.
10.5 This voluntary right of withdrawal does not affect statutory warranty rights.
11. Retention of Title The goods remain the property of vale until full payment has been received
12. Product Representation
12.1 Product images are for illustrative purposes only.
12.2 Color variations may occur due to different screen displays and lighting conditions. Such deviations do not constitute defects.
13. Warranty Statutory warranty rights apply.
14. Liability
14.1 vale is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence.
14.2 In cases of slight negligence, vale is liable only for breaches of essential contractual obligations and limited to foreseeable damages typical for this type of contract.
15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
15.1 German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
15.2 If the customer is a merchant, a legal entity under public law, or a special fund under public law, Munich shall be the exclusive place of jurisdiction.
16. Final Provisions Should individual provisions of these Terms & Conditions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
